HOSPITALITY MINISTRY
The Hospitality Ministry is inviting you to join the ministry. You will be one of the first smiles seen or voices heard when someone visits the Church for Masses on the weekends.
If you are interested to join the ministry, please email hospitality@stgabrielsparish.ca. or leave your name and contact at the parish office. We need help especially at the 4.30 PM, 8.30 AM and 12.30 PM Masses.
FROM THE DESK OF FR. PAUL, THANK YOU!
With this Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord, we close our celebration of Christmas and we look forward to a peaceful New Year.
Sincere thanks to everyone who supported our various outreach programs and all other events held and organized by our Parish.
A special mention also goes to all our Parish Ministries and their volunteers. Your selfless contribution of your time and talents are certainly the greatest blessing that our Parish continues to have!
You are truly wonderful people!
CARING FOR THE HOMELESS IN OUR CITY
Thank you for your support of Rosalie Hall and the Good Shepherd Centre over Christmas. Once again, the people of St. Gabriel’s have been extremely generous.
Your food donations continue to be important as numbers of people in need increase. Please check the expiry dates before donating since we cannot pass on food that has expired.
GOOD SHEPHERD CENTRE CASSEROLES
A big thank you to the volunteers who prepared 47 casseroles for December, our highest number in 2023! For January, your frozen prepared casseroles will be collected at all the Masses on the weekend of January 27th/28th for delivery to the Good Shepherd Centre.
More volunteers are encouraged to become active in helping to feed our less fortunate sisters and brothers. Three different recipes are available in the Parish Office or online at the Church website. You may pick up casserole pans at the Parish Office. If you require more information, please contact Irene Albrecht at 416-221-2791.
