PSALM MEDITATION
Presentation of the Lord. February 2nd , 2025
Psalm 24
On this feast, we respond to the words of the prophet Malachi with this psalm praising the King of Glory.
So great is this Holy One that even the gates must be raised to accommodate him.
God does not need our praise; however it is truly right and just for us to give God thanks and to praise God. Which is what Psalm 24 and many psalms do.
“The Lord of hosts, he is the King of Glory.”
